These Terms govern your use of the DolFin mobile app, DolFin Pro, Money Leak Audit features, website forms, and related services. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
Important: DolFin provides education, budgeting tools, expense awareness, and possible spending-pattern insights. DolFin does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, credit, insurance, payment, or fiduciary advice.
1. Provider
DolFin is operated by EMIGLOBAL S.R.L. ("DolFin", "we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility
DolFin is intended for users aged 16 or older in the EU. By creating an account or submitting a website form, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
If you use DolFin on behalf of another person, you must have permission to do so and you must not upload statements or data that you are not authorised to use.
3. What DolFin Does
DolFin provides financial education, expense tracking, manual and file-based statement import, gamified lessons, habit tools, subscription entitlement handling, website Money Leak Checks, and Money Leak Audit features.
DolFin may categorise transactions, detect recurring payments, highlight possible spending spikes, and suggest review actions. Outputs are estimates and may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, or based on imperfect imported data.
4. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Contact support@dolfinapp.org if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, attempt to bypass security or paywalls, upload malicious files, or create legal or security risk.
5. User Data, Statements, and Imports
You choose which income, expense, category, transaction, and statement data to enter or import. You are responsible for checking imported rows before saving them.
- Upload only PDF or CSV statements you are authorised to use.
- Do not upload malware, forged documents, another person's statement without permission, or files intended to disrupt the service.
- Review extracted transactions before importing them into your tracker.
- Do not rely on DolFin to detect every recurring charge, subscription, fee, or spending pattern.
Bank statements may contain sensitive information. DolFin explains its statement-processing practices in the Privacy Policy.
6. No Professional Advice
DolFin is not a bank, investment firm, tax adviser, legal adviser, insurance broker, credit adviser, payment institution, or fiduciary. DolFin does not manage money, initiate payments, provide regulated account information services, or recommend specific financial instruments.
Any lessons, scores, insights, categories, projections, prompts, scripts, or suggested actions are for education and personal review only. You decide what to do. Consult a qualified professional before making investment, tax, legal, debt, insurance, credit, or other financial decisions.
DolFin does not guarantee savings, reduced spending, improved finances, investment returns, or successful cancellation or renegotiation of any contract.
7. Website Money Leak Check
The website Money Leak Check uses numbers and answers you enter to generate an educational snapshot and early-access follow-up. It is not a complete financial assessment and does not replace professional advice.
If you enter your email, we may send your requested result, launch access, or related DolFin updates. You can ask us to delete your form submission or stop contacting you by emailing support@dolfinapp.org.
8. Free Features and DolFin Pro
Some features are free. DolFin Pro may unlock additional features such as saved statement imports, Money Leak Audit details, recurring-spend review, or other paid functionality shown in the app.
DolFin Pro may be offered as monthly, annual, lifetime, introductory, or promotional access depending on store availability. Only offers shown in the app or by the app store at purchase time are available.
Exact localised price, billing period, renewal terms, taxes, trial or introductory-offer status, and payment confirmation are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase.
9. Subscriptions, Cancellation, and Refunds
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account before renewal, as explained by the relevant store.
- You keep Pro access until the end of the current paid period after cancellation.
- Restore purchases is available in the app where required by the store.
- Refunds and withdrawal requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their rules and applicable consumer law.
DolFin must not charge users outside Apple IAP or Google Play for digital app features where store rules require in-app purchase.
10. Gems, XP, and Virtual Rewards
XP, gems, levels, streaks, achievements, leagues, and other virtual rewards are part of the app experience only. Gems are earned in the app, are not legal tender, have no cash value, cannot be transferred outside DolFin, and cannot be exchanged for money.
DolFin may modify, rebalance, reset, or remove virtual rewards where needed for security, abuse prevention, product changes, or service discontinuation.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use DolFin for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Upload malware, malicious PDFs, scripts, or files designed to attack our systems.
- Access or attempt to access another user's data.
- Bypass paywalls, quotas, security controls, rate limits, or app-store payment systems.
- Reverse engineer protected service components except where mandatory law allows it.
- Misrepresent DolFin outputs as professional advice, audited financial statements, or guaranteed results.
- Submit content that infringes rights, violates privacy, or you are not authorised to use.
12. Intellectual Property
DolFin's app design, graphics, mascot, text, lessons, quests, icons, code, and other content are owned by or licensed to DolFin and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use DolFin for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
13. Third-Party Services
DolFin relies on third-party services such as Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Formspree, hosting, email, and support providers. Their own terms and policies may apply to their services. DolFin is not responsible for third-party services outside our control, except where applicable law says otherwise.
14. Apple and Google Store Terms
If you download DolFin through Apple App Store or Google Play, the relevant store terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for providing DolFin support, maintenance, or advice. If these Terms conflict with mandatory app-store terms, the mandatory app-store terms apply to that issue.
15. Account Deletion and Termination
You can delete your DolFin account in the app settings. Account deletion removes DolFin-controlled app data tied to your account, subject to retention required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, payment, dispute, and processor records.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, misuse the service, or if we discontinue DolFin. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
16. Availability and Changes
DolFin may change, add, remove, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in the app, on the website, or by email where required.
17. Disclaimers and Liability
DolFin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, DolFin is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or decisions you make based on DolFin outputs.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
18. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
Mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence remain unaffected. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts and under the applicable law determined by consumer-protection and conflict-of-law rules.
